75th ANNIVERSARY In 18 hundred and 95 many long years ago A stalwart band of pioneers, wanted the WORD to grow. Not only did they plant the crops to insure daily bread. They planted food for hungry souls, and thus they forged ahead. They founded a church and organized a congregation strong, It was the birth of TRONDHJEM CHURCH, their joy rang our in song. For now they had the very thing which they all seemed to need, They had a church to feed their souls, a guiding light indeed. For seven decades and five years, this guiding light has stood Ready to guide each weary soul, the very best it could. It has shared the joys of couples upon their wedding day, And sent many a confirmand, securely on his way. And when that last long parting breath has signaled Journey's end, It shares God's acre freely, with member or with friend. Standing guard so faithfully, like a sentinel at best, Watching o'er the faithful souls, that have been laid to rest. Long may its saving message, go north, south, east or west, Until such time the Lord sees fit that it may come to rest. -written by Julien J.
